I saw the parent running around the back field and thought there might be a nest with eggs near by. Wanted to see if the adult would do the in distress hurt wing dance. Then I saw this chick, snapped a few shots and left to not disturb them and bring unwanted attention to them.

Red Shouldered Hawk chicks on the Gainesville-Hawthorne trail. I could hear a hawk call while walking the trail and how surprised I was when I it coming from these lil babies.
