Does anyone use a fill flash for macro photography? I was going to get the RF 100-500mm to match with my R5 but I am thinking about getting another macro lens RF 100mm + flash. Since it would be cheaper and I am not out actively doing any bird photography. I don't have any flash that works with my cameras and I can still use my old 5dmkIV + Sigma 150-600mm for birding. This was taken with 5d MkIV + Rokinon 100mm MF.
Opinions?

Red Shouldered Hawk chicks on the Gainesville-Hawthorne trail. I could hear a hawk call while walking the trail and how surprised I was when I it coming from these lil babies.
