1st Outing 2023. I was really looking forward to going back out to La Chua trail Friday but the GF smacked me with a last minute honey-do list. We made it out Saturday for a few hours and ran across this sign and unspent blank rifle round. This trail area was part of Yellow Water Nuclear Weapons Storage & Hazardous Waste storage across from NAS Cecil Field. Shut down storage in 93 and decommissioned use of area in 99. I think most people here still don't know the place even existed.

They actually brought them back a few weeks ago but I was to busy to go look at them. If you can watch on a bigger screen you can see how fast they fly off on the wider shots. I just thought it was pretty cool. 🙂
Last time we only had 6 pallets here and they brought 9 this time. They will be here for the spring and some summer then off to Cali for the almond crops.
