They are working on a new housing development right next to my house and I saw this soft shell turtle moving toward the next pond on my neighbors property. I knew it wouldn't get past the silt fencing so I had to crawl through the barbwire fence we have then grab him and put onto the next property.
About 30 minutes later a bulldozer rolled thru. Its sad watching all the old dairy pastures around here get turned into housing.
Kind of funny seeing one for the 1st time last month kayaking and then seeing one practically in my back yard.
