Went to Paynes Prairie La Chua Trail and also walked some of the Gainesville Hawthorne trail. Saw a few Sail Kites, Osprey, Black bellied Whistling ducks and many a Alligator as expected. Hope my photos come out good but won't be able to get to them for a few days.
After we wanted to go to the Yearling restaurant only to find out they are only open Thurs-Sun. I was cruising down an old country road on the way there and I saw a Bald Eagle pop up out the ditch on the side of the road so I slowed down to get a good look. I am glad I did because this one decided to take off and fly directly into my drive path. I stepped on the brake to slow down more but was a good 10-15 feet from it (4.5 meters for my foreign buddies😄). Really wish I had my dash camera set up, would of been an awesome video.
The brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice so I am able to shoot in the safety of my back yard.
1st time shooting Henry Big Boy X 357mag with all my Ranger Point Precision add ons. This is definitely my favorite gun now.😁
This is a little sunrise shot I took of my backyard and lean-to barn. I am an amature photographer mainly of birds and wildlife. I am here to share my photography and I hope you join me in my adventure.
